Prepayments

Prepayments refers to payment in advance. Examples are rent prepaid and insurance prepaid.

?Owner paid for more than what is needed for the year.

In the Profit and Loss Account, it is deducted from the expenses paid.

Expenses prepaid is recorded as Current Assets in the Balance Sheet.
